This lift is EXACTLY what I needed. I have been home and wheelchair bound for 19 months. Never being able to leave home was taking a serious toll on my mental health and was straining my relationships.
The lift arrived quickly, five dsys sooner than estimated. Once here, it was surprisingly simple to put together by following the illustrated instruction booklet and the video provided when deciding to purchase.
It is sturdy, easy to maneuver on all hard surfaces, and I always feel safe when I am being raised/lowered.
The lift/lower functionality is ridiculously simple; both my husband and I are able to perform the task with no trouble. The lift seat is comfortable and does not have any pressure points.

As someone who checks reviews regularly before major purchases, I appreciate when others share. This lift assist device was a necessity because my mom had back surgery and is a bit too heavy for everyday 2 person lifting. We ordered it a week before she came home & it arrived the day after she came home (perfect timing). It was rather easy to put together and the wheels & crank worked well. It takes a bit of practice in placing the seat (under a heavier person….230 lbs) but once in place, the buckets easily clicked in place and can be loosened or tighted as needed. Then the crank does the hard work! I liked that the base could be widened or narrowed (bathroom opening only 24 inches) as needed. Because of this lift, my mom finally used a shower and toilet for the first time in months. Longevity of the lift is still to be determined but so far so good!
